Safety & Security Film

Thick, tough films that hold broken glass together, reducing injury from flying shards and slowing down forced entry.

How it works

Keep broken glass in one piece

Ordinary glass breaks into sharp, dangerous pieces. Safety and security films are thick, multi-layer polyester bonded to the glass with a strong adhesive, so when glass breaks, the pieces stay stuck to the film.

Thinner safety films focus on protecting people from accidents, storms and impacts. Thicker security films add time and difficulty for anyone trying to break in. For the highest performance, film can be anchored to the window frame with an attachment system. Film makes glass much harder to get through, but no film makes glass unbreakable.

  • Holds shattered glass together
  • Slows smash-and-grab entry
  • Virtually invisible once installed
  • Far cheaper than replacing glass
Benefits

Protection you can't see

Injury protection

Keeps sharp shards from flying if glass is struck or breaks.

Break-in delay

Thick film makes forcing a way through glass slower and noisier.

Storm & impact

Helps hold glass in place when it's hit by flying debris.

Clear protection

Optically clear films keep the view and the building's look.

UV protection

Blocks most UV rays to reduce fading. [Confirm UV % from spec sheet.]

Cost-effective

Upgrade existing glass instead of installing laminated replacements.

Quality & manufacturing

Built thick, bonded strong

Safety and security films get their strength from layers: several sheets of tough polyester laminated together.

Factory production line
  1. 01

    Multi-ply lamination

Layers of high-tensile polyester are laminated into one thick film, from about 4 mil up to 14 mil or more.

  2. 02

    Aggressive adhesive

A heavy-duty adhesive bonds the film tightly to the glass so shards stay in place.

  3. 03

    Scratch-resistant coat

A hard coat protects the exposed surface from everyday wear.

  4. 04

    Impact testing

Films are tested for tensile strength and adhesion. [List standards only if certified, e.g. ANSI Z97.1, EN 12600.]

Our quality promise: [Describe your supplier's quality control, e.g. every roll inspected before it ships]. Backed by a [X]-year manufacturer's warranty. Made in [COUNTRY] by [MANUFACTURER or "our manufacturing partner"]. [Add certifications only if your supplier holds them, e.g. ISO 9001.]
